Mission Statement
Established in April of 2015, Calisia Polish Canadian Soccer Club, also known as Calisia, is an organization that serves Polish-Canadian communities by actively engaging youth to learn leadership skills through playing soccer and giving back to their community.
The team was founded by High School students, aged 16-19, and teachers of Polish heritage who are actively involved in Polish School programs in Edmonton, Alberta.
The one of the main goals of this organization is to build character in our youth and to support the growth of young leaders who serve their communities and other organizations in Alberta.
We believe that teaching young people discipline, respect, integrity and healthy life style will make them better members of our community. As a soccer club, we strive to achieve nothing but the best on and off the field.
Calisia is funded entirely by the community and individual volunteers who support our values and goals. Calisia operates as a nonprofit society in Alberta.
